I am deeply passionate about software development and am committed to continuous learning. My ultimate goal is to share the rich insights I’ve gathered throughout my career. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, my journey has led me to live in three different countries Canada, the Czech Republic, and now Ireland, where I reside with my wife and son.
I began my career in 1997 as a Web and Graphic Designer, initially tasked with creating product catalogues and performing color correction for photos. The project that truly ignited my passion was developing a new website for the company, which paved the way for me to start designing websites for various other clients. My years as a web designer were fulfilling, crafting sites for a diverse clientele.
In 2008, I relocated to Dublin, Ireland, securing a role in web design and development. Unfortunately, the economic crisis that year led to job losses, mine included. During my subsequent job search, I noticed a high demand for Java Developers. This observation prompted a return to Brazil where I diligently studied Java, eventually emerging as a Java/Flex Developer. Transitioning from web development to Java took me ten years, during which I mastered the language and its applications.
Now, with a decade of expertise, I am eager to impart my knowledge to aspiring developers. My future aspiration is to become an esteemed educator, using my experience to explore and innovate within the tech sphere. Teaching not only allows me to assist others in their learning journey but also pushes me to continuously expand my own horizons in technology.
